Most composers hand over stems. I take a game's music from the first theme through to working implementation in engine.

  • Composition & Production

Original music for video games, trailers, and film, across a wide range of styles and instrumentation. Written, performed, mixed, and delivered ready to drop in.

  • Interactive Music Systems

Adaptive scores that respond to gameplay and narrative: vertical layers, horizontal re-sequencing, and tension systems designed around how the game actually plays.

  • Game Audio Implementation

Hands-on integration in Wwise and FMOD, so the music works in the build, not just in the bounce.

About & my journey

Six countries, a jazz education in Vienna, and a long way round to writing music for picture.

  1. Across Europe1995-2013

    A moving childhood

Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria. A new country every few years, and a new language and instrument with each. I started where a lot of people do, at the classical piano.

  2. Vienna2013-2019

    Jazz took over

Classical got me going, but jazz was the pull. I studied jazz piano and singing in Vienna, years of harmony, improvisation, and performance, and learned to sing in six languages.

  3. Into media2019

    A brief, not a box

I started dipping my toes into media composing, writing production music for television. It clicked at once: a brief was a place to start from, not a box to fit inside.

  4. Widening out2021

    Games and advertising

The work opened up into scoring for games and advertising, where the music has a job to do, hold tension, turn a scene, sell a feeling, without ever getting in the way.

  5. The HagueNow

    Music as architecture

Today I compose from The Hague for film, games, and TV. The projects I want are the ones where the score isn't wallpaper, it's structure, real harmonic depth under a cinematic surface.

Music that sounds immediate, and rewards a second listen.

Mentorship

I mentor a few composers a year.

Alongside the scoring work, I run a 12-week 1:1 mentorship for composers who can already write but don't yet sound like themselves. The same voice-finding work I do on my own music, worked through with you: harmony with real depth, orchestration with intent, and taste you can trust.

Send the cut, even a rough one. I read everything and reply within a day, from The Hague.
